Backing up the humanity hard drive is a critical and necessary thing to do at some point—by having all of our eggs in one planet basket, we’re leaving ourselves vulnerable to extinction. ● Mars is by far the best place to back up the humanity hard drive. ● But with enough technology, we could create many more backups by colonizing as many as ten or more moons, asteroids, and planets in the Solar System.
